When I was a kid my favorite TV show was called “Greatest American Hero”. It was about this guy who is lost in the desert one night. A UFO comes down, aliens hand him a superhero suit and then tell him to go and save the world with his new super powers. But . . . he loses the instruction manual!

So he’s got all this incredible power . . . But he’s afraid of heights! And he’s crashing into buildings! And he’s teleporting himself into all the wrong places at all the wrong times!
And by the way . . . has your life ever felt like that?

And yet, this guy is a superhero.

Now when I was eight years, I’m sitting in front of the TV and screaming with laughter at this poor guy. . . and even still, I remember thinking to myself, “There’s something to this.”

I have literally spent most of my life searching for an answer to the questions “How do we learn to discover and use and grow our super powers?”
